RICE EMBROIDERY CAP

This is WANSIE's original cap, inspired by an authentic Apollo cap.
The silhouette was reconstructed from a classic baseball cap.

It features a long visor, characteristic of Apollo caps, and a three-dimensional embroidered design.
Instead of the usual laurel wreath, WANSIE's representative "rice-ear pattern" is
embroidered with a plush finish.
This design incorporates respect for "farmers" as professionals,
and simultaneously serves as an auspicious symbol of a bountiful harvest and prosperity.
It is a motif designed with the hope that the pattern of "rice," which forms the base of Japanese cuisine,
can be casually incorporated into daily life.

Following the tradition where wearing a kimono with patterns anticipating the next season has long been considered "iki" (stylish and chic),
the WANSIE SS23 collection deliberately incorporates the rice-ear design, a symbol of autumn's bounty.
